Improbable

Lee Simpson

Lee is a founder member of Improbable and has been director, devisor or performer for their productions of Animo, 70 Hill Lane, Coma, Lifegame, Sticky and most recently Theatre of Blood at the National Theatre, and Spirit at the New York Theatre Workshop. He has also been improvising with the Comedy Store Players for 16 years.

Lee's workshop focused on creating and developing a narrative through improvisation in its many and varied forms: Verbal, vocal, physical, musical and puppetry. Leaving aside the intellectual processes of ‘story structure’, is it possible to find out through improvisation the answer to the perennial question, ‘What happens next?’
