Hilary Westlake

Hilary is an established director with a track record of creating high quality work across theatre, opera, circus and multi-media disciplines.

She was co-founder Lumiere & Son Theatre Company with writer David Gale, and responsible for Circus Lumiere - one of their most successful touring shows in the 80's. The company produced over fifty shows for theatres, ferry boats, botanic gardens, shopping centres, castles and swimming pools.

In recent years Hilary has specialised in large scale site-specific events as well as directing existing texts, music theatre productions and opera. She was commissioned to create the Parade of Fifty Years for the Queen's Golden Jubilee and involved with Artangels' Exodus in Margate with film maker Penny Woolcock.

From 2003 to 2006 she was the Creative Director of Entertainment at Disneyland Resort Paris.
